Hempact is our creative and simple solution to the ever-growing waste problem. Traditional sanitary products are made primarily with plastic and cotton, Hempact aims to introduce a biodegradable product made with hemp fiber, an agro-waste Alberta farmers used to frown upon. By keeping the hemp stalk off the farmland and the sanitary products out of the landfill, Hempact contributes to our environment and helps us in building a more sustainable community. 

This year, our dedicated team is working on product research and development, business analysis, as well as community outreach. Our goal is to produce a prototype by Summer 2018.
