Inspired by Hackathon, Inventathon is a 24 hour competition where teams of 3-5 participants must attempt to come up with a complete project targeting a speicific topic within Enactus's four main pillars. Each team can choose to develop a conceptual program, prototype, product, website, app, or business model. After 24 hours, each team will present their project to the rest of the contestants and a panel of judges in a Dragon's Den style pitch. Winning teams will be chosen by the judges. The Inventathon Contest will strenghten the teamwork ethic within the U of A, and provide crucial leaderhsip training for our students and connections to tudetns in other disciplines.
