It’d be great if you have:

  • Experience in giving presentations in both formal and informal environments

  • Experience in seminar instruction and/or previous workshop delivery

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Deliver weekly workshops to target audiences

  • Work with Curriculum Manager to learn and delivering materials

  • Work with Workshop Manager to ensure efficient and effective delivery of the workshops

Note: This position will require a heavier commitment during the Fall and Winter Terms due to the workshops occurring in the evenings during those times.

      Marketing Manager

      What you’ll need:

      • Strong oral and written communications

      • Interpersonal skills

      • Proficient in Microsoft Word

      • Hands-on attitude

      • Understand and have a good eye for great design

      • Marketing experience

      • A desire to make an impact in the community

       

      It’d be great if you have:

      • Experience with branding

      • Advanced knowledge of Adobe programs

      • Marketing experience

       

      What you’ll be doing:

      • Branding and promoting the workshops materials and marketing campaign

      • Collaborate with Graphic Designer to develop any marketing materials required for workshops

      • Work with Graphic Designer to create PowerPoint presentations for workshops

        Graphic Designer

        What you’ll need:

        • Strong oral and written communications

        • Interpersonal skills

        • Proficient in Microsoft Word

        • Hands-on attitude

        • Understand and have a good eye for great design

        • Knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)

        • Marketing experience

        • A desire to make an impact in the communit

        What you’ll be doing:

        • Branding and promoting the workshops materials and marketing campaign

        • Collaborate with Marketing Manager to develop any marketing materials required for workshops

        • Work with Marketing Manager to create PowerPoint presentations for workshops

          Curriculum Manager

          What you’ll need:

          • An aptitude for taking complex topics and teaching them to others

          • Strong oral and written communications

          • Interpersonal skills

          • Proficient in Microsoft Word

          • Hands-on attitude

          • A desire to make an impact in the community

           

          It’d be great if you have:

          • Experience in creating workshops

          • Experience in education, lesson planning, or curriculum development

           

          What you’ll be doing:

          • Develop the series of workshops including the weekly topics and content to be delivered throughout the eight weeks

          • Work with External Relations to secure community and corporate partners for workshops

          • Coordinate with Life Mentors and Workshop Manager to deliver curriculum content in the form of workshops

          Note: This position will require a heavier workload during the Spring and Summer terms as all curriculum must be developed prior to September.

            Workshop Manager

            What you’ll need:

            It’d be great if you have:

            • Experience with team leadership

            • Experience in coordination and/or logistics of events

             

            What you’ll be doing:

            • Coordinate logistics for workshops

            • Work with External Relations to secure classrooms and partnerships with at-risk communities for workshops

            • Work with Curriculum Managers and Life Mentors to ensure accurate delivery of material during workshops

            Note: This position will require a heavier commitment during the Fall and Winter Terms due to the workshops occurring in the evenings during those times.

              External Relations

              What you’ll need:

              • Strong oral and written communications

              • Interpersonal skills

              • Ability to take “no” as an answer

              • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel

              • Professional demeanor

              • Hands-on attitude

              • A desire to make an impact in the community

               

              It’d be great if you have:

              • Fundraising experience

              • Grant writing experience

              • Communications experience

               

              What you’ll be doing:

              • Establish and foster corporate and community relationships

              • Find corporate and community presenters for workshop sessions

              • Apply for community and government grants

              • Attend workshops and welcome community and corporate partners

              Internal Relations

              What you’ll need:

              • Strong interpersonal skills

              • Strong attention to detail

              • Strong written and oral communication skills

              • Professional demeanor

              • Hands-on attitude

              • A desire to make an impact in the community

               

              It’d be great if you have:

              • Experience with team leadership

              • Experience with team event planning

               

              What you’ll be doing:

              • Provide HR functions for the team

              • Recruit members as required

              • Provide member development opportunities and organizing team events

              • Act as minute taker during minutes

              • Handle turnover at the end of the year
