Head of Business Development

Aqua Caelum aims to create atmospheric water generators that will allow individuals in developing countries to effectively and efficiently filter water for consumption and farming. This project will empower individuals by microfinancing franchisees to create their own personalized start ups and sell these water filters, thereby helping their local economy and helping to reduce water related fatalities while simultaneously increasing access to water.

Our project goals for the upcoming year:

  • Create a prototype and test locally
  • Establish international partnerships and develop contacts within developing countries which would benefit from this innovative technology
  • Travel to and deliver the product while developing training and micro financing programs to help individuals develop their own start ups in local villages

What you’ll need:

  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Have strong organizational skills and time management abilities
  • Have excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills

It’d be great if you have:

  • Experience leading teams of various sizes and handling multiple deadlines
  • Experience working in fast paced environments
  • Coursework completed in project management and/or strategic management

What you’ll be doing:

  • Report to Project Leader
  • Leading business development team for Aqua Caelum in creating business plan
  • Directing growth and strategy of business operations
  • Collaborate with Community Outreach Coordinator to establish new partnerships
  • Develop sustainable business model
